Camden Sunday League SKIPPER Jack Pegg returned from a lengthy spell on the sidelines to grab a dramatic late winner for Boundary Estate in Division Three of the league.

The championship contenders needed just two minutes to take the lead in their game against Rosemary Athletic as Sam Kidby snuck in at the near post from a corner and flicked the ball past the keeper.

Rosemary took advantage of a defensive mistake to level before the break. But Boundary were back in front early in the second half courtesy of a composed finish from Pete Kelly.

Rosemary looked like that had earned themselves a point when they made it 2-2 with just 10 minutes left. But captain Pegg, returning after a three month lay-off, marked his comeback in style as he rose highest at a corner to head home the winner for Boundary.

Chalk Scratchings successfully managed to hold on to their three- point lead at the top of the table.

The deadlock in their hard-fought game against AFC Birkbeck Orient was finally broken in the 85th minute when striker Siva Van Vliet scrambled the ball home from close range to seal a 1-0 victory.
